Why should students get involved with your organization?
Almost off Book gives students an environment to hang out with friends while working on meaningful and fun theatrical projects. Throughout the year, our members have a variety of opportunities to really immerse themselves in theater, whether it be through acting, tech work, or playwriting.

What types of events and/or programs do you do throughout the year?
We produce two productions each year. In September we put on Quick Change, which features short 10 minute plays by student playwrights. The casting, rehearsal, tech, and performance process all takes place within three weeks, and it鈥檚 always a really fun, high energy time. From November to February we do our main, fully realized winter production, directed, acted and designed by students. Aside from our productions we have an improv troupe known as The Ashley Harvey Players, and Karaoke and Open Mic nights.

What has been one of the biggest successes of this organization?
Our winter productions every year are the highlight for me. Almost off Book has such a dedicated group of members, and during this time they all get a chance to show off their skills and work collaboratively to create productions that everyone involved are extremely proud of. 2023鈥檚 Vampire Lesbians of Sodom was a raunchy comedy featuring incredible, hilarious performances, and 2024鈥檚 She Kills Monsters was full of magic and heart, assisted by extraordinary technical theater work. Our winter show this year, Dracula:Comedy of Terrors has yet to open, but given all the hard work being put into it, it鈥檚 sure to delight audiences.

What do you think your organization brings to the students at xxxx色情片 State?
Great theater made by students, for students! We don鈥檛 charge students for any of our events or productions, so there鈥檚 no downside to spending your night going to see a piece of quality entertainment that your classmates and friends have worked hard to bring you!

How can interested students join your organization?
DM us on , email us and ask for more information, or attend one of our shows and events and talk to a member of the e-board personally. (Even if you don鈥檛 want to join, you should attend our shows)

Club Name: American Sign Language (ASL) Club
Mission: ASL Club aims to educate students about the culture and fundamentals of American Sign Language while promoting awareness and understanding of the Deaf community.

Why should students get involved with your organization?We are a very welcoming and inclusive club! We are open to all xxxx色情片 State students, and聽 have no rules or expectations about your knowledge/background of ASL. We aim to cover the basics of ASL, and learn more about deaf awareness and the hard of hearing community. The basics of ASL are something applicable in all careers and even everyday dialect and interactions. We learn all of this through fun, hands-on activities and games. This includes silent uno meetings, candy + conversations, fun valentines crafts and more! Joining our club is also a great way to branch out and make new friends and connections across campus!

What types of events and/or programs do you do throughout the year?
Silent Uno fun, Guest speakers, Silent Bingo, and more!

What has been one of the biggest successes of this organization?
At our first meeting we had more than 20 new members show up. This includes students at all different levels of knowledge and backgrounds, all excited to learn more about ASL!

What do you think your organization brings to the students at xxxx色情片 State?
The ASL club is so much more than a club, it is a welcoming community that supports and accepts all students and faculty at xxxx色情片. We are a club that teaches and spreads deaf awareness across campus to bring more people together. We aim to build strong friendships and knowledge through sign language. And, you never know when your knowledge will help someone else or yourself!

How can interested students join your organization?
Students can reach out to our email aslclub@worcester.edu or they can reach out to our Instagram . They will recieve an email back within a day, answering any questions or concerns. If they do reach out and wish to join, they will be added to our email list. This way they can hear about updates, events, meetings, and potential changes or cancellations.

How can the campus community learn more about your programs and events?
They can learn more about our club via social media, as well as our email list. We also plan on attending more campus events such as Club Kickoff!

Why should students get involved with your organization?
xxxx色情片 State鈥檚 student population is over 60% women-identifying individuals. Our club celebrates the accomplishment and pursuit of higher education of each of those women. Students should get involved not only because our club applies to the WSU student body community, but also to find opportunities within our school that they can further apply themselves to or celebrate a cause they鈥檙e passionate about.

What types of events and/or programs do you do throughout the year?
In addition to our bi-weekly general meetings, WSU Fems hosts a series of events each semester that incorporate the educational aspects of our general meeting with the fun, excitement, and social engagement of big events such as balls, panels, picnics, menstraul products drives, and crafts for students to enjoy.

What has been one of the biggest successes of this organization?
The biggest success as a brand new club has been the initial interest of so many inspiring students at the school. Women really identified WSU Fems as a piece of engagement that had so far been missing in the WSU community. With large student numbers and support behind us, we鈥檙e looking forward to an amazing first semester.

What do you think your organization brings to the students at xxxx色情片 State?WSU Fems brings the opportunity to not only celebrate, but also educate so many students about how they can best succeed in their professional lives. We have so many educational resources and networks available to our club members, and we are excited for those opportunities to continue to grow.

Why should students get involved with your organization?
SOTA is a great organization to join to build friendships, help others, and make the most of your education experience. Occupational therapy is a great balance of work and play, SOTA is an accurate representation of that. In SOTA, we discuss occupational therapy and help each other through stressful times like finals. But we also have fun events where we can come together and relax after those stressful times. SOTA is a great way to get involved on campus and add more to your education experience than just class!

What types of events and/or programs do you do throughout the year?
Our biggest event of the year is OT Day, held in April. This is a day when we have various OT related activities. In the past, we have had yoga instructors or OT speakers come as well. This is a great day for OT students to come together and share our passion for the field with one another. We also hold various events for students to come together, such as game nights and movie nights. In addition, we have fundraising events like restaurant fundraisers and bake sales!

What has been one of the biggest successes of this organization?
The biggest success of this organization is how dedicated our members are to the field of occupational therapy and to the xxxx色情片 community in general. We are currently running a fidget drive to give to children with sensory needs, and we will be doing a clothing/blanket drive in the winter as well. We plan on making Thanksgiving cards for community members and veterans. In addition, we also plan on heading over to Tatnuck Park to play Bingo with the residents!

What do you think your organization brings to the students at xxxx色情片 State?
SOTA brings a great sense of community to WSU students. This is an organization where people who are interested in OT come together to help one another and promote this field, which is often overlooked.

Mission: Our mission is to appreciate and explore the outdoors while practicing Leave No Trace. We strive to participate in many different outdoor activities in order to help others find their own various interests in the outdoors.

Why should students get involved with your organization?
While as students we tend to be glued to the computer, busy with homework and studying, it is extremely healthy to take a break and get some fresh air. Maybe there is a mountain that you have always wanted to climb, or you have never tried kayaking. Maybe you wanted to learn more about the wild vegetation in New England, or the geology of the earth we live on.

What types of events and/or programs do you do throughout the year?
We hold group hikes and will plan events in the New England area where we may go kayaking, camping, skiing, etc.. We also plan on coordinating wilderness training with other organizations such as the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC).

What has been one of the biggest successes of this organization?
I think our biggest success is upgrading from the hiking club to the outdoors club. By simply changing the name, we broaden the perception of our organization. Rather than just one activity, we could potentially participate in any outdoor activity that members feel interested in exploring as a group.

What do you think your organization brings to the students at xxxx色情片 State?
Our organization not only brings a breath of fresh air to students, but it also promotes healthy hobbies and learning about the environment/nature that we all reside in.

Why should students get involved with your organization?
Students should get involved with our organization if they enjoy reading or would like to start reading. The books we read are chosen by the book club as a whole so everyone gets a chance to read something they鈥檙e interested in. There is no pressure to talk during the book discussions, as we want our members to be as comfortable as possible. We also hold activity meetings where we make something book-related. Some examples of activities we have done so far are book club key chains, make your own bookmarks, and making miniature books of what we have read as a club. Overall, this is a club that has something for everyone, and we would love to see new faces!

What types of events and/or programs do you do throughout the year?
As we are a new club, we have not held many events so far. In the beginning of the semester (spring 2025), we held a fundraiser raffling off a book bundle, with proceeds going towards the betterment of the club. Coming up, we have an author talk, where a local author will make an appearance at xxxx色情片 State to talk about her latest book and her upcoming book, along with what it鈥檚 like to be an author. We are hoping to hold more events as our club grows and progresses.

What has been one of the biggest successes of this organization?
The biggest success of this organization has been the outcomes of our meetings. As a new club, we have had a great outcome in the number of members that show up, especially during the meetings where we pick a book and discuss it. When starting a new club, we had no idea how many people would be interested or be able to make an appearance. Through this process, we鈥檝e found that many students love to read, but they love sharing their thoughts on what they鈥檝e read even more. We are so appreciative of each and every member who has shown their support.

What do you think your organization brings to the students at xxxx色情片 State?
Our organization brings joy, community, and friendship to the students of WSU. As a new, small club, we have built a strong community that allows each individual to be themselves. Each member can suggest a book they would like to read without fear of judgment, and they can have their own opinion on the book we read without fear of judgment as well. Our book club is a place where members are welcomed to express their own opinions, and share their own interests. Everyone coming together to share an interest and passion in books is something that has been incredible to witness. We also have meetings where we make book-related crafts and activities, which is a time where we can learn more about each other and become closer as a club.聽

How can interested students join your organization?
Students can join our organization by emailing us or following us on Instagram to find out the time, date, and location of the upcoming meetings we have planned. We would love to meet new members interested in joining Book Club!

Why should students get involved with your organization?
Photography has been trending for a while, and it鈥檚 one of those hobbies that brings people together no matter how experienced they are. A few of the executive board members are hobbyists themselves! Students should definitely join since we combine both passion and friendship!

What types of events and/or programs do you do throughout the year?
We hold general, informational meetings with how-to guides for those who are unfamiliar with digital cameras. We also hold meetings with darkroom demos for those who are geared towards old-fashioned, traditional film. We hope to incorporate some events in the near future where students can go outside and capture stunning images on digital cameras and learn how to edit them.

What has been one of the biggest successes of this organization?
Definitely being able to create a space related to anything photography. We combine hobbyists with professionals, giving various perspectives during meetings. It truly is a space for beginners and advanced photographers!

The photography club brings together creativity from various perspectives. Lots of students who attend the photography club meetings aren鈥檛 Communication majors, just hobbyists who are interested in learning more about photography.

Education Club
The purpose of the Education Club shall be to have a community of future teachers to collaborate with one another, provide educational workshops for professional development, and be a community where we can support one another professionally or socially.

Fire-Flow Club
Fire Flow teaches individuals the art of fire spinning while honoring and incorporating traditions inspired by Native American practices.

Investing, Money Management, and Trading Club
IMT helps to foster financial literacy among WSU students by providing a platform to learn and practice the principles of investing, money management, and trading.

Paw Print Club
The purpose of Paw Print Club is to offer students an opportunity to become more involved with the surrounding community of xxxx色情片 with core aspects of the club gauged towards animal well-being. This will not only offer a glimpse into the field of veterinary medicine but will allow students to contribute to a positive impact/cause to their community, ultimately providing a sense of fulfillment and happiness.

Our biggest success is providing our adults with disabilities with a sense of inclusion and feeling connected to a new friend through xxxx色情片 State students. xxxx色情片 State students can 鈥渕atch鈥� with a member to see them once a month outside of our events, text or email them and provide them with a social experience they otherwise would not have.

Best Buddies brings diversity and connection to individuals outside our campus. Students are able to be exposed to a new population of individuals and can feel empowered helping others. Our members just want to feel connected to a new friend and share experiences they otherwise would not have the opportunity to experience.

Being the first-ever Armenian organization at WSU is absolutely our biggest achievement. We鈥檙e so grateful to not only live in a city with a thriving Armenian community but to be able to bring it to our own campus. Some honorable mentions include designing a cool ASA t-shirt, and our Club Kickoff table making it onto the WSU Instagram!
