The Financial Aid Office at xxxxɫ��Ƭ uses standardized student expense budgets when calculating need. Budgets are reviewed and updated annually, and include tuition, fees, books, room and meals, transportation, and personal expenses. xxxxɫ��Ƭ State may adjust a student’s budget for unusual individual circumstances.

The following table shows the student expense budgets used by xxxxɫ��Ƭ State for a full-time student during the 2026-2027 academic year. Tuition and fees are subject to approval and change by the Massachusetts Legislature, and/or the xxxxɫ��Ƭ State Board of Trustees.

*Out-of-state students who qualify for the New England Regional Student Program are charged 150% of in-state tuition.

** Books/Supplies costs may vary depending on a student’s program of study and can include: rental or purchase of equipment, materials, or supplies has moved out of the definition of “tuition and fees” and into a broader definition of “books, course materials, supplies and equipment.” Adjustments can be made based on a student’s specific program costs.
